The ZigZag Films HDTV online system is built around a dual 2.7Gb G5 and state of the art 4:4:4 Decklink HD Pro dual 12 bit capture card. This is ideal for the most exacting work and can be used for features, visual effects and for any project where the highest quality is required. We work in PAL, NTSC, 35mm, and all the HD formats. The 4Tb RAID has enough storage for 7 hours of 1920x1080 footage. Full colour grading, compositing, animation and motion graphics are also available. Our portable FCP, Powerbook based, off-line system comes with a minimum of 1TB of storage. This was recently used to cut a one hour HDTV originated documentary. It can store around 70 hours of HDTV rushes at DV quality. We can set up on location or in your office. Both systems have Cinema Tools, After Effects, Live Type, Motion, Photoshop, Illustrator & SoundTrack Pro. DVD authoring can be done at Standard Definition or on HD DVD.
